The figure shows a MCU scanning device, at which the object is being moved between the linear x-ray camera and the x-ray tube.
The object is placed on the object holder (4). The object holder is mounted on the manipulator, a linear sliding table (2). The MCU (1) gets the command from the connected PC to capture an image and starts the stepper motor of the manipulator. Thereby the object is moved with a constant speed through the x-ray beam of the tube (5). During this movement, the MCU is permanently reading out the linescan x-ray camera (3) and passes the data on to the PC. The PC composes the single lines to an x-ray image.
